It's the world's first producer of candies, and the first exporter of confectionery of Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Peru. As of 2005 ( when this implementation took place ) , Arcor had 31 manufacturing plants, with 27 in Argentina alone and the remaining spread among Brazil, Chile and Peru. It is the largest producer of candies worldwide, with exports to over 117 countries.
About the Solution
EMSER installed AutoTrader and FSTracker empowering ARCOR's salesforce with the ability to access sales and merchandising information on mobile devices making the use of the same as an integral part of business processes for all sales and fulfillment activities.
Route Accounting is a term used to describe those applications in which goods and services are bought and sold in a mobile environment. A Route Account system allows a single representative to efficiently serve the customer, to accept purchase orders, issue invoices, and to collect payments. Real Time Location Systems (RTLS) allow you to keep track of your drivers and choose the most efficient travel route for them to take
After one year, ARCOR counted with 3500 Sales Reps on the field able to view and edit the following information : Orders ,Deliveries ,Customer Information,Sales Opportunities,Status of Receivables,On Site Marketing efforts,Pricing and more.
